Every hero I write about may not be a cowboy but almost every one of them is from Texas. I’m one of those people who always say I wasn’t born here but I got here as fast as I could. I love Texas. There is just something so comfortingly macho about Texas me, whether or not they live on a ranch. So of course my two upcoming heroes are definitely Texans through and through.
