Who’s Your Secret Fantasy?
By Sara Daniel
Confession time: My teenage fantasies were all about the boys who I wished would notice me and didn’t—in other words, all of them. In my fantasies, they would fall in love with my many wonderful qualities (dumping their hot, snotty girlfriends—naturally), and my biggest quandary would become which one of them I wanted the most.
Hollywood stars (I’m talking to you, Matthew McConaughey!) and NASCAR bad boys (What can I say? I’m obsessed!) took my fantasies to an entirely different level. They also didn’t know I existed, but their star status at least makes my invisibility understandable.
But by far, the best fantasy men are found in books. Just so we’re clear: Kenny Karmody from Suzanne Brockmann’s Out of Control is MINE!
Anyway, I digress. Fantasies can also be about people who do know you exist but don’t see you in that light or with whom acting on the fantasy would be a serious broach of conduct. Madame Eve has a solution, as she always does, for those smart enough to contact her 1Night Stand service for help. Happy second birthday 1Night Stand. Below are two more very satisfied customers.
Regina’s fantasies about her hot marketing assistant, Gabriel, are interfering with her focus at work. In desperation, she turns to Madame Eve to give her a one-night stand with a man who looks just like him. When the Gabriel arrives in her hotel room, she must choose between walking away and playing out her daydreams with the real thing. Their one night becomes a wrestling match for control as Regina strives to keep the upper hand. But Gabriel is just as determined to show her how to work together for business and for pleasure.
As passion trumps protocol, their one night stand quickly becomes much more than a fantasy.
